Do You Like Colour?

Updated: Aug 17, 2019

It’s amazing how colour affects us.

Probably more than you would imagine. We use colour to describe emotions, for example feeling blue, purple with rage, in the pink, red with anger, green with envy, and colour can also lift our mood.

Trying feeling sad when you are in a room that is yellow, try concentrating when you are in a room that is bright red!.. Nearly impossible…

So it makes sense to be aware of the affects of colour and to use the knowledge in a more conscious manner. Choose your colours wisely, the clothes you wear, the décor in your home, and set it all up so that it works for you rather than against you. What colours do you like? What colours make you feel happy?

We are influenced by many things in life mostly on the subconscious level, and colour, and the way it affects us is just one of those many things that have a huge impact on us in our daily lives.

In our bodies we have chakra’s these are wheels of energy that help to keep our bodies in balance, each wheel of energy, each chakra resonates to a different colour, the colours of the rainbow in fact: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.

Each chakra serves a function on the emotional level as well as the physical level, so to feed these chakra’s the correct colours/food to boost their energy makes perfect sense.

So colour wise look at the foods you are eating and eat a rainbow of colours. You can find out more about chakra’s if you just do a search, there is too much information to go into in this post. But to keep yourself healthy, mind, body and soul, don’t discount the role that colour plays in your life.

REMEMBER: Sometimes, it’s the simple things in life that have the most profound effect!

Notice the colours you wear on a day to day basis, how do they make you feel, what colours would make you feel better, what colours would make you feel focused, what colours can give the impression to others that you are confident, in control, a force to be reckoned with!

Have a play with this, colour can be fun.

Till next time...
