Manifestation Meditation

Today I just wanted to touch a little on "inner work" and look at Manifestation Meditation.

Manifestation Meditation is the process of internally ‘seeing’ how you would like your life to be, for example, seeing your goals and imagining that those things that you want to be, do or have are in your life right now.

All it takes is 10 mins a day and it will help to pull towards you the things you want in your life, the conditions you seek and the feelings and experiences you want to have.

If you’ve not had the chance to do any kind of manifestation meditation before and don’t know what it is fear not.. It’s not difficult.

Let me give you an example.. If I say to you imagine an elephant with a pink woolly hat on and blue socks, that is what you will be doing, it’s the process of seeing with your mind’s eye rather than your ‘normal’ eyes.

Just find a quiet spot and sit down either cross legged or in a chair with your feet on the floor and your back straight.

Focus on your breathing to start with and just notice the in breath and the out breath. Thoughts will come to mind and when they do don’t get ‘attached’ to them just notice them and let them float by.

Keep focusing on your breath.

Next place your attention to your head, and let your head and scalp relax, then your neck imagining that all the tension is being released. Use this technique all the way through your body until you get to your toes.

You will feel calm and relaxed.

Next comes the visualisation part. See the goal that you are focusing on in your mind’s eye, focus on how you will feel once you have achieved this goal, what it will add to your life and what it looks like. Visualise every aspect of your goal, and hold the image in your mind as though you’re looking at a movie screen.

Keep doing this for 10 mins each day, it keeps you on track to achieving your goals and helps to keep you focused. Not only that, as an added bonus, meditating every day helps to ease stress and anxiety, so it’s a WIN/WIN and we like those.. :)
